BioJuliet O'Hara recently transferred from Miami Beach to the Sanata Barbara Police Department. She's a Junior Detective working with had Detective Carlton Lassiter. She was raised in a family of brothers and is close with both her parents and her siblings. Although she is initially frustrated by her coworkers not taking her seriously enough due to her relatively young age, she's progressively given more responsibility. At one point she's left in charge in the absence of Lassiter and Interim Chief Karen Vick. She was also given her first undercover assignment as a sorority leader at the local college.
She owns two pet cats (one of whom is dead now). She has the highest score in the Santa Barbara Police Department for the detective test. A requirement for her potential boyfriends is that they be good at bowling. Shawn's nickname for her is "Jules." She has at least three nephews, Drake, Fin, and Isaac. She's one of the few people to usually get Shawn's random references.
